Practical Support for Real-Life Goals

Meet your Occupational Therapist

Hi, I'm Joanne—most people call me Anne. I'm a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist with over 8 years of clinical experience and a strong specialisation in paediatrics and early childhood development.

I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland, building on my earlier sdegrees in Human Kinetics and Sport Science from Canada. Since then, I’ve worked across a range of settings—from community-based therapy to clinic roles and leadership positions. I have spent time working as an Allied Health Team Leader and National Clinical Practice Advisor for under 18’s. These roles have allowed me to support other therapists while shaping national best-practice approaches to early intervention.

My approach is relationship-based, evidence-informed, and strengths-focused. I provide practical, family-centred supports that help indoviduals thrive in their daily environments—at home, in care, or at school. I have extensive experience collaborating with paediatricians, psychologists, general practitioners, support coordinators, Child Safety, and other allied health and community services to support diagnostic clarity, coordinated care, and meaningful outcomes for individuals and families across the lifespan.

I’m also trained in a range of therapy tools and approaches, including Handwriting Without Tears, Circle of Security, trauma-informed care, and sensory-motor interventions for infants, toddlers, and adults.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking along the beach, on a reformer doing Pilates, or spending time with my family. My husband and I love taking our 2 kids and 2 dogs to the beach or playing at a local park.
