Helping Families and Adults Thrive. One Wave at a Time.

Our Mission

At Seaside Family OT, our mission is to provide compassionate, client- and family-centered occupational therapy that meets people of all ages exactly where they are. We believe in building strong, trusting relationships and creating meaningful, individualized therapy experiences that support growth, resilience and everyday success. Through a strengths-based approach, we empower children, adults, and families to navigate challenges, maximize their potential, and celebrate progress—together.

Who We Help

🍼 Infants & Toddlers (0–3 years)

  • Delays in reaching milestones like sitting, crawling or walking

  • Feeding difficulties or sensory sensitivities

  • Early signs of developmental delay

Through play-based, family-focused strategies, we help babies and toddlers build foundational skills for movement, regulation, and connection.

🎨 Early Childhood (3–7 years)

  • Challenges with emotional regulation, following directions, or transitions

  • Delays in speech, play, or social skills

  • Fine motor concerns (e.g., using scissors, drawing, cutlery use)

  • Sensory processing differences (over- or under-reacting to sounds, touch, movement)

We support children to grow their independence, build routines, and succeed in home, daycare, and school environments.

📚 Children & Adolescents (8–18 years)

  • Executive functioning difficulties (planning, organising, staying focused)

  • Social-emotional challenges, anxiety, or burnout

  • Self-care skills (e.g., dressing, hygiene, using public transport)

  • Support with learning differences, autism, ADHD, and more

We work collaboratively with young people and their families to develop confidence, life skills, and self-awareness.

🌱 Adults

  • Support with daily routines, sensory regulation, executive functioning or burnout

  • Transition planning (e.g., to independent living, study, work)

  • Navigating life with autism, ADHD, mental health needs or psychosocial disability

We offer respectful, personalised therapy that meets adults where they’re at — helping them live more comfortably, confidently, and meaningfully.

“"From our very first session Anne made us (and our son) feel valued and understood. Her compassionate approach and tailored strategies have made a significant difference in our family's daily life. We have noticed huge improvements in his confidence and emotional resilience”
